TGB Height Chart v.2

I decided it was about time for a new one, since the old one seems like it's too small (narrow) for a lot of cats, and the male/female difference was bothering me because cats don't actually vary that much in size between sexes, but they vary a LOT with breed. I also thought it would be nice to have some sort of reference for height, rather than having a vague outline in the background. I would have done centimeters as well, but the math was too hard for my tiny undercooked brain.

For the purposes of this, cats are measured at the shoulder, because that is the only part that doesn't change whether they are standing or sitting. You COULD measure your cat at the head, but they would probably seem very small compared to other cats.

Keep in mind also that some breeds of cats, like Chausies and Savannah cats, may exceed the maximum height because of wildcat genes (the lower the generation the bigger the cat, I would assume) and others such as munchkins or kits will fall below the minimum line. This does NOT mean you can (or should) go to town with the size of your cat and have them as far to one end of the scale as possible. Please try to keep it realistic.

Some reference points:
-The tallest adult cat on record is a Savannah cat, reaching 19" at the shoulder.
-Savannahs average at 15".
-Chausies and Norwegian Forest Cats average between 13"-16".
-Maine Coons average at 14".
-Bengals average between 11"-13".
-American Shorthairs average between 10"-14".
-Siberians and Ragdolls average between 9"-11".
-Orientals, Turkish Angoras, Russian Blues, Egyptian Maus, Siamese, and Somali cats (along with several other more prominent breeds) average between 8"-10".
